This Privacy Policy explains how Karee Fennell ("we," "us," "our"), operator of VZN Credit, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our service at vzncredit.com (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: name, email, password (hashed), and authentication provider (email/password or Google).
- Billing information: processed and stored by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Operator content: the client records, dispute notes, contract drafts, and AI-letter inputs you enter into the Service.
- Communications: emails or messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Standard log data (IP, user agent, timestamps).
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies section below).
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To process subscription payments via Stripe.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, security notices).
- To respond to your support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party processors
We share information with the following service providers as needed to operate the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing, subscription billing, and identity verification (KYC).
- Twilio — SMS messaging, when configured by the operator.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Anthropic / Emergent — AI dispute-letter generation (Claude Sonnet model). Letter inputs you provide are sent to the model to produce drafts; we do not authorize model providers to train on this data.
- Google — optional Google sign-in.
- MongoDB Atlas — managed database storage.
4. End-client data (operators)
If you are an operator using the Service, you may upload personal information about your end clients (your customers). You are the data controller for that information, and we act as the data processor. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary legal consents from your end clients, including for KYC verification and SMS messaging.
5. Data retention
We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion.
- Export your data.
- Opt out of marketing emails (transactional emails are exempt).

7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your settings. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and present a cookie banner where required.
8. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including TLS in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. International users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-product notice.
